Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Formulate and develop a sales strategy for HGC based on an in-depth assessment of customers’ needs and expectations

  • Manage sales accounts.

  • Formulate sales strategy proposals for joint consideration with Managing Partner, following consultation with Business Development team and others where necessary.

  • Implement the formulated HGC sales strategy by ensuring that Business Development team is aware of and pursue the agreed targets and objectives.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the sales strategy identifying opportunities for development and improvement and implementing changes in conjunction with the Management Team.

  • Review the sales strategy at quarterly intervals, recommending improvements and policy changes and taking the appropriate action in conjunction with the rest of the business development and sales units.

  • Ensure that information relating to new products and new procurement practices are effectively communicated to all parties.

  • Deliver sales targets to the amount as agreed and will be reviewed periodically

  • Take a lead role in the recruitment of Business Development Team.
  • Manage HGC sales executives on a day-to-day basis ensuring that they are provided with the appropriate level of initial training, professional development, sales guidance and strategic direction.

  • Monitor effectively the HGC sales team – their performance and results, and prepare periodic reports for Management.

  • Review the payment and reward mechanism for Business Development Team and make recommendations for improvement to the Director and Senior Management Team.
  • Review the terms and conditions with HGC customers and devise and implement a system for reinforcing the best value services provided by HGC.

  • Maintain an electronic Customer Relationship tool for managing clients and sales cycle.

  • Review where necessary, methods and processes of income generation and make proposals for improvement.

  • Proactively develop and improve products and services

  • Liaise with Company Business Partners e.g. SAP, ORACLE, MICROSOFT, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Professional Qualifications:

 

  • A good university degree

  • MBA will be an added advantage

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience

  • Experience in hardware and software selling

  • OEM work experience will be an advantage
